STAFF

Jon McClarnon - Lead Pastor
Jon was born in Missouri and lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma for several years - all the while developing a great love for Duke basketball - never knowing he would end up living in North Carolina.
In 1999 his family came to Wake County and joined the staff of Crosspointe Church in Cary where he served for 7 years.
When he's not attending hockey, soccer or basketball games for his kids, Jon likes hanging out with his wife. He occasionally squeezes in a round of golf or game of basketball.
Jon leads True North in accomplishing the mission of the church and tries his best to listen to the promptings of God.

Trevor Harrison - Youth Pastor
My name is Trevor Harrison, and I get to wear several hats in my role with True North Church. Primarily I work directly with the high school and middle school students. But I also oversee the children's ministry and community outreach/service. However, since I only like to wear one hat at a time, I call my hat "Get's Stuff Done."
I joined True North Church in January of 2010; although I've been following and praying with the church since it's inception. Jon and I have known each other for about 10 years now, and TNC is the third church that we have both served at. And after 7 years in Texas the timing was right for me to come back to the Triangle. My current departure plans are non-existent.
Like many in the Triangle I am a transplant. Growing up a military brat I have traveled and lived in numerous places and learned to make the place I am currently at 'home' and the people I currently know as 'family'. I'm excited to be sharing life and loving the Garner community with True North Church.
